Free gardening classes offered by OSLU

Ozarks Self-Reliant Living University will hold free classes on using seeds to raise your own garden plants in three cities March 9, 10 and 16. Classes will be held Saturday, March 8, in Willow Springs at the Ferguson Building, Sunday, March 10, at Next Step 7th Day Adventist Church and Saturday, March 16, at the Slack farm seven miles east of Thayer on Highway 142. All classes are from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 pm. There is never a charge for classes.

OSLU classes cover a variety of heritage studies topics to assist people in becoming more self-reliant. Instructor Deb Slack says "We teach the things you used to learn at home from your grandmother years ago." For more information call Slack at 417-264-2435.
