Patricia Frances Burk
Patricia Frances Burk was born in Hiawatha, Kan. on May 5, 1924, the daughter of Elbert and Ethel (Ford) McCracken, and departed this life March 21, 2013, at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mt. Home, Ark., at the age of 88 years, 10 months, and 16 days.
She was united in marriage to Herbert Jennings Burk on Oct. 11, 1941, at Mammoth Spring, Ark.
Pat enjoyed her time spent as a homemaker and farmer and was a member of the Camp United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Judy Laster and husband, Hugh, of Sherwood, Ark., Kathy Clark and husband, Jasper, of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Rhonda Martinez and husband, Robert, of North Little Rock, Ark.; two sons, Larry Burk and wife, Joyce, of Gassville, Ark., and Terry Burk and wife, Debbie, of Hot Springs, Ark.; one son-in-law, Robert Gordils of Montgomery, Texas; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Herbert, daughter Bonita Gordils, parents, and brother Ford McCracken.
Funeral services were held at Barker Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, Ark., on Monday, March 25, 2013, with R.L. Custer and Rev. J.R. McElhannon officiating. Interment was in the Camp Cemetery, Camp, Ark. with services under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Pallbearers were Ron Burk, T.J. Burk, Joe Burk, Steve Burk, Chris Clark and Joey Burk. Honorary pallbearers were Jackie Burk, Kevin Burk, Rodney Burk and Adam Burk. Memorials preferred to Camp Methodist Church or Hospice House.
