Pioneer Day Brrr-ade

Miss Arkansas USA Hannah Billingsley donned a light jacket and rode in a convertible despite temperatures in the low 40s for the Pioneer Day parade on Saturday, May 4 in Melbourne. Billingsley, a Franklin native, served as Grand Marshal of the parade, and a good crowd came out to see her and other parade attractions despite the cold temperatures and occasional light rain.

Horseshoe Bend is counting on better weather as it holds its 27th Annual Dogwood Days Festival all day on Saturday, May 11.
