Beth Frey, 47 of Evening Shade was arrested on six drug charges on May 25 after a drug dog alerted to possible drugs in her vehicle after a traffic stop. A search of the vehicle found numerous drug and drug related items. Frey is being held in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Linda Faye Tinin, 51, of Norfolk was arrested on May 28 for arson. A resident of a home near Calico Rock reported seeing Tinin fleeing the property shortly before a fire was discovered. Tinin was released after paying bond in the amount of $5,000.

Kevin Monroe Huston, 32, of Oxford was arrested May 29 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of an instrument of crime. Hutson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a no bond status.

Kristi Ann Lane, 40. of Violet Hill was arrested May 29 for possession of a controlled substance, obstructing governmental operations, fictitious license plate, and driving on a suspended license. Lane remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $2,915 bond.

Michael Lee Smith, 41, of Flippin was arrested May 25 for failure to pay fines relating to an earlier conviction of possession of a controlled substance and fleeing. Smith remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,665 cash bond.

Latina Marie Kurtley, 39, of Quail Run Apartments in Melbourne was arrested May 29 for possession of a controlled substance. Kurtly was released after posting bond in the amount of $1,105.

Mark Lee Duncan, 39, of Melbourne was arrested May 24 for domestic battery, third degree. Duncan was given a court date and transported to a mental rehabilitation facility on May 29.

Tara Yvette Spangler, 41, of Melbourne was arrested May 25 for a violation of the Arkansas Hot Check Law warrant. Spangler was released after posting bond in the amount of $329.

Amanda Dawn Chamberlain, 26, of Salem was released from the Izard County Detention Facility to Washington State authorities May 30 to answer felony charges in that state.
