TNT Gymnastics had a spectacular start to their season. On Saturday Oct. 28, they traveled to Mountain Grove Mo. to compete in the Flip or Treat competition hosted by MGP Gymnastics. After all the meet scores were calculated, our home team found itself champions by 0.7 points. “All the girls performed amazing, we couldn’t be prouder of them” stated owners and head coaches Todd and Tina Conforth. They all competed in vault, uneven bars, beam and floor exercise as level 2, the highest level at the meet.

To put the day in perspective; getting a 9.0 out of 10 or better on an event is what everyone’s goal is and the girls came away with 9.0 or better in 20 out of their 40 routines. That includes three girls receiving 9.5 or higher on two out of their four routines. “It has been a wonderful journey to get these girls here. Some of them have been with us from the beginning starting in the recreational program two and a half years ago” said Todd Conforth. The girls competition team started last year with a highlight of taking 3rd place at the Branson Classic. This year TNT has started a boys team that will begin competing next summer. They are also in the planning phase of having a competitive cheer program that will begin at the first of 2018.

TNT is located in the Highland Square. They offer boys and girls recreational gymnastics classes, tumbling classes for cheerleaders, mommy and me classes, birthday parties and day camps for all age groups toddler to high school. TNT gymnastics is also hosting Silver Sneaker classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings having something for all age groups. Todd and Tina are certified USAG gymnastics instructors with a passion for helping kids have fun pushing their bodies to the limits of their gymnastics ability which was to the top of the mountain Saturday.
