Upcoming election candidates

There are a few local positions up for election in the upcoming April election. Following is a list of those for cities and schools.

For the City of Alton, Holly Reese and John Wheeler are running for the two aldermen positions open.

There are four vying for position of alderman for the City of Koshkonong. They include an incumbant running for re-election Matthew (Codey) Bryant, Vonda Collins, Thomas Lowe and James Barnett.

Current members of the City of Thayer’s council are all running unopposed for re-election, this includes: incumbants: Roger Foley, Terry Tillman and Stephen Clark. Mayor incumbant Kenneth Cotham is running for re-election and vying for the same position is Michael King. Janice Tolar is running unopposed for tax collector.

There are three running for the two positions open for the Alton R-IV School board including: Chris Clark, Becky Granger and Justin Heck.

Those running for the two positions open for Couch R-I School board are: Luke Fisher, Nicole Melton Roy and Jeffrey Roberts.

There are two positions open for Koshkonong R-II School board and three vying for a position on the board: Dale Hunsperger, Greg Howell and JR Stirewalt.

Two positions are open for re-election on the Thayer R-III School board those running include: Ralph Jared Underwood, Deanna King-Smith and Noval Willbanks.
