Miller joins Bank of Salem team
Bank of Salem President, Mark Montgomery, recently announced that Jason Miller has joined the Bank of Salem as Senior Vice President of Lending. “Jason has been an integral part of our community for many years, making him a great addition to our lending team and the entire organization,” said Montgomery. Miller joins an experienced team of lenders including Mike Falco, Senior Vice President of Lending; Andy McCandlis, Senior Vice President of Lending, and Mark Montgomery, President, with 99 years of combined experience.
Miller is a 1995 graduate of Salem, a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in finance and computer information systems, and holds a degree from the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He is a member and deacon at Salem First Baptist Church and serves on the board of Salem Public School, Fulton County Fair Association, and Salem Cemetery. Jason and his wife Kelly, have been married 20 years and have three children: Gabe, Madalyn, and Elijah. Jason and Kelly are also foster parents.
Bank of Salem was established in 1908 with $25,000 in capital. The bank was established to provide a safe and trustworthy place for the local community to entrust their money. Since that time, Bank of Salem has grown to $137 million in assets and $16,320,000 in capital, while still putting the local community first. The bank employs 36 full time people and has branches in Salem, Viola, and Mammoth Spring.
