On July 9, Baxter County Sheriff’s Deputies were involved in a high speed pursuit of a stolen Chevy Silverado truck into Fulton County.The stolen truck was abandoned at Pickren Hall Road at the intersection of Enterprise Road at around 6:50 a.m. A manhunt began at this point. At around 10 a.m., Fulton County Deputies stopped a white Ford truck at a road block. Twenty-five year old Dylan Ozzy Lawyer was taken into custody. On July 11, Lawyer was charged in Fulton County with felony fleeing, a class D felony; aggravated residential burglary, a class Y felony; theft of property, class D felony; two counts of kidnapping, class Y felony; two counts false imprisonment in the 1st degree, class C felony; four counts of terroristic threatening in the 1st degree, class D felony; and habitual offender having four or more felony convictions. Fulton County District Judge Larry Kissee has set bond at a half a million dollars, cash only. Lawyer is presently in the Baxter County Jail on Baxter County charges there but will be transported to Fulton County at a later date.

On July 11, Fulton County Deputies arrested 29 year old Shain Smith, of Fulton County. Smith has been charged with residential burglary, a class B felony; two counts of theft of a firearm, class D felony; one count of misdemeanor theft, defacing a firearm, a class D felony; possession of a defaced firearm, a class D felony; possession of firearms by certain persons, a class B felony. Fulton County District Judge Larry Kissee has set his bond at $65,000.
