SRC holds BRW for United Way of Northcentral Arkansas

The Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce held a Blue Ribbon Welcome for new member United Way of North Central Arkansas (UWNCA) on Aug. 1. The UWNCA services people in need living in the counties of Cleburne, Independence, Izard, Sharp and Stone counties by partnering with local nonprofits, businesses, government and social service agencies. Its mission to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another is served by mobilizing the community to advance the common good, especially focusing on education, health and financial stability.
