Break-in at Salem business; reward offered
A Salem business was the victim of burglary the weekend before Christmas.
Hillbilly Manufacturing filed a report with the Salem Police Department following a break-in to their facility. Two welders were stolen with an accumulative value of approximately $8,000.
In addition to the theft, the facility was also vandalized.
Due to the size and weight of the equipment, Salem Police Chief Shad Overman believes there is more than one individual responsible. He also said the investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the incident, should call the Salem Police Department.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for the return of equipment.
