Dear Editor,

My husband and I have always tried to be nice and helpful to people and never harm people or their stuff. We donít know why but on Friday morning around 2 oíclock, some people had to come by and hit our mailbox and tear it up. My husband made the wooden post with a flower pot on it and it has stood there quite a while. It meant a lot to my husband and I. My husband has been in so much pain for over two weeks and he just had surgery on Monday. He isnít able to fix our mailbox for a while.

Our mailbox wasnít the only one tore up. four different roads were also hit. Whoever is responsible may thought it was funny and laughed while they were doing it but when they get caught, there will be a lot of people laughing when they are sent to jail.

It is a federal offense to mess with mailboxes.

Sincerely,

Carolyn Parker
