Gomes returns to Moose Lodge

Moose Lodge #1953 of Mountain Home, welcomes once again the talented and widely listened to, blues and rock guitarist Anthony Gomes for a one night performance on Saturday, Oct 17. Gomes’ 2018 release Peace, Love & Loud Guitars was named Blues Rock Review's #1 Album of the Year and was named one of Top 20 Albums of 2018 by Rock and Blues Muse.

Gomes' trip to the area this time will highlight the Oct. 16 release of his newest CD entitled “Containment Blues” which features his recently released single, “Hell and Half of Georgia”. The Toronto native has been propelling Blues Rock into the contemporary music culture with his unapologetic approach to reinventing the genre in relevant and fresh ways. “The Blues [are] old, but not tired,” said Gomes, adding, “it speaks as truthfully today, and for this generation, as it ever has.” The Moose Lodge event will be the first time other tunes from the album will be performed live.

Scheduled for Oct. 17 at 7 p.m., cost will be $20 with advance tickets now available for purchase at the Lodge. Mountain Home Moose Lodge is located at 4754 Hwy 5 South, 2.5 miles south of the bypass in Mountain Home.
