Amanda Christina Warren
Selfless, loving and adventurous are words used to describe the life of Amanda Christina Warren. She was born the daughter of Steven L. Voegeli and Terri L. Leader on Jan. 5, 1990 in Barstow, Calif. She was the baby of the family, joining her brothers and best friends in life, James and Nicholas. Her eternal life began Jan. 12, 2021, when she passed away at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
Amanda met the love of her life, Dustin, while working at Ozarks Healthcare. Amanda and Dustin were married April 5, 2018 in Alton, Mo. She was an amazing mother to three beautiful daughters; Isabella, Kadynce and Emersyn. She spent time putting her creative touches into loving projects with her daughters, creating very special memories. She loved her family fiercely, including her nieces and nephews from siblings and special friends.
Amanda was continuing her education to become a teacher. No matter what career path she chose to pursue, it always involved helping others. She had an infectious smile and loved to laugh. She was fearless, ambitious and empathetic. She would lend a helping hand to anyone in need and always let her family and friends know how much she loved them.
No matter what life threw her way, she was always up for the challenge. She showed strength and determination always and even during the last few months of her life, she was actively involved in building a home for her family, while being pregnant. Not only did she take on every day life adventures, but she loved to travel and would do so spontaneously, another trait she was very well known for.
Growing up, she was very close to her parents, grandparents and brothers. In true little sister fashion, no matter how much her older brothers aggravated her, her love for them was never to be mistaken. She graduated from Thayer High School in 2008, where she made many friends and lifelong friends.
Survivors include: husband, Dustin; daughters, Isabella, Kadynce and Emersyn; father and step-mother, Steven and Mary Jane Voegeli, of Birmingham, Ala.; brothers, James (Leanne) Albritton and Nicholas (Danielle) Voegeli; step-sister, Shannon (Virgil) Lewis; special friends Kandi Fuselier (fiance, L.B.) and Capri (Jeremy) Turner and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Her brothers will always remember her as one of the three strongest women they’ve known, as she joins her grandmother, Gwen Leader and mother, Terri, in her passing. Her grandfather, Clayton Leader, also preceded her in death.
