Stone signs letter of intent with College of the Ozarks

Thayer Lady Bobcat Senior, Julie Stone made her official collegiate basketball commitment on Tuesday, Oct. 23 amongst family, friends and teammates and coaches.

Julie signed a letter of intent to play basketball next fall at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Mo.

Julie Stone is a 5’7 shooting guard. In her junior season, Julie averaged 17.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 5.3 apg, 4.7 steals per game while shooting 50 percent from the field. She shot 39.4 percent from the three point line and 71 percent from the free throw line. Stone is a three-time All-District selection, three-time All-Conference selection and two-time SCA Conference Player of the Year. Last season, Julie led her team to a 25-1 record, including an undefeated regular season before falling in the district finals to the eventual state champion. Julie is a multi-sport athlete, also competing in volleyball.
