Clerk’s Office encourages uses of Voter View

Thursday, October 1, 2020

The Fulton, Sharp and Izard County Clerk’s Offices are all urging residents to take advantage of an online program that can educate voters.

Voter View is an option found on the Secretary of State’s website that allows Arkansas residents to enter their name and birthdate to receive vital voting information. There are several sections to view information once you have entered your name and birthdate. Your precinct name and location of where you need to go to vote are among the information provided. At the bottom of the page, the voter will find a list of districts for their area and what school district they are in. This information may already be known to many who have lived in the area for a while, but for someone who is new to the area, it is important information to become an informed voter.

Sample ballots for each party (Democrat, Republican or Non-partisan) are also available through Voter View. The sample ballots are helpful to voters so they can become familiar with the process and have time to research each candidate, if they choose. The website for Arkansas’ Voter View is, https://www.voterview.ar-nova.org. Any registered voter in Arkansas is able to go the link and view their precinct and district information.
