The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is looking for help from outdoors enthusiasts and the growing segment of watchable wildlife dedicated to reptiles and amphibians to report western chicken turtles they may find while enjoying the outdoors in The Natural State.
Area youngsters entering grades two through eight are invited to participate in the Grizzly Basketball Camp June 20-22 at the West Plains Civic Center. The camp is being hosted by Missouri State University-West Plains (MSUWP) Grizzly Basketball Head Coach Jared Phay, Assistant Coach Jason Owens and members of the Grizzly Basketball team.

Jettie Sue Haynes, of Mason, Mich., was born Dec. 3, 1937, in Texarkana, Ark., daughter of the late Floyd and Bessie Chambless, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at age 84.
Kenneth Clarence Davis, 73, of Cherokee Village, Ark., passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at his home. He was born Dec. 22, 1948 in Goshen, New York to Clarence and Pauline (Weibel) Davis, both who preceded him in death.
