The Hardy History Association (HHA) met Thursday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hardy Senior Center. President Darlene Wilson opened the meeting with a report on the previous board meeting. They will be applying for a small museum grant with the Division of Arkansas Heritage.
The Cherokee Village (CV) City Council held a special public meeting to discuss the proposed sales tax increase that is to be voted on by CV property owners in the upcoming special election in May. The meeting was held on Tuesday, April 26 at 6 p.m. at city hall with most members of council present. Mayor Russell Stokes brought the meeting to order.
The Sharp County Quorum Court met on Monday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at the Sharp County Courthouse.
