The Spring River Car Club

The Spring River Car Club, under the guidance of a new president, Chandler Slater, has revived its Spring River Car Show. On Saturday, June 4, at Loberg Park, people from all over Arkansas and southern Missouri attended the show to either participate or just to check it out. There were about 71 vehicles registered for judging in one or more categories, and more than 300 spectators showed up throughout the day. Many more people brought one or more vehicles just for display, but did not register for the competition. It is anticipated the event will be held annually again in June. Photos/Elaine Brown

Anderson notes that “it’s really important to keep lines of communication open and honest, and to help state leaders understand how their decisions directly affect our cities and towns. That all starts with genuine friendships and relationships.”
