John Franklin Ogden passed away on May 23, 2022, at his home in Myrtle, Mo., at the age of 85. John was born in Hartford, Conn.

Members of Strawberry River Chapter, DAR are strong supporters of education which is one of the three objectives of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Each year we present a chapter scholarship to a graduating senior in the tri-county area.
On July 4, Mitchell and Nancy Frazier, of Hardy Ark., will celebrate their 30th year wedding anniversary. Nancy and Mitchell were married on a date that meant the world to him as he was active military and remained that way until 2002. He became a disabled veteran. They have two children Erica Frazier and Cody Frazier. Grandchildren: Marco Rosales, Arron Collins, Mickeal Collins and Declan Frazier. Together they have created a life of love, family and dedication to their marriage as well as Mitchell has dedicated his life and marriage to the military.

The ninth annual Melon Dash 5k will be held Saturday, July 30 at 7 a.m. from the Cave City Park during Cave City’s Watermelon Festival. The race is hosted by the Cave City High School Cross Country and Track and Field Programs as its annual fundraiser. All proceeds go to help the kids of both programs.
