Officials at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) have announced their Dean’s List honorees for the 2022 spring semester. To qualify for the MSU-WP Dean’s List, students must have earned a 3.5 to 3.99 grade point average for 12 or more credit hours taken during the semester.

If you are someone you know is caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or other dementia, you may be interested in a new program launched this week. The Arkansas Legislative Council recently approved the creation and funding for the Dementia Respite Care Pilot Program.
Arkansas and the rest of the country reacted heavily to the U.S. Supreme Court overturning the historic 1973 Roe v Wade abortion law on Friday, June 24. With the law overturned, it will now be up to individual states to set its own abortion laws.

The Fulton County Quorum Court met for its June meeting on Tuesday, June 21 at the Fulton County Civic Center due to the runoff election ongoing that day. Several of the items up for discussion were that of the courtroom annex building, along with the evidence storage facility, nursing home and radio upgrades for Fulton County law enforcement, EMS and fire and city police department.
After a pre-trial hearing on Monday, June 27, Travis Barker and Jacoby Goehler are headed to jury trial in the alleged shooting death of Davidlee Stansbury which occurred near property by Republican Road in Salem on April 23, 2021.
