There is a new way to get help for folks experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis and it’s as easy as dialing 988. In July, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline launched, ushering in a link to crisis centers nationwide through a toll-free number connecting callers to trained counselors for free and confidential care.

CK II Ragball Memorial Tournament was recently held at the Fulton County Recreational Complex. This year, the profits were donated to the Zeigler family and the complex. A Mountain Home husband and wife pled guilty to hiding a fugitive and were put on 12 months probation during a session in Baxter County Circuit Court on July 11. Seventy-two-year-old Charles Gale and his wife, 65-year-old Stephanie Rae Gale, were arrested in late November 2021 when a search warrant was served at a property along Mercedes Loop in Norfork.
