The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office invited the public to the square for free hot dogs and water on July 4 at 6 p.m. on Monday. The outreach from the sheriff’s office was a way for the public to meet with new officers along and learn of the High Five Rural Safety Project for the state of Arkansas. Water was donated by the Bank of Salem and, according to Fulton County Sheriff Joe Boshears, the hot dogs were donated by the officers themselves. Special guest Haydyn Friend, the recently awarded National American Miss Junior Teen Arkansas 2022, from Salem, was also on-hand handing out hot dogs, her first public appearance since being crowned.
