The Highland City Council met Tuesday, June 14 at 6 p.m. at Highland City Hall. Mayor Russell Truitt called the meeting to order. The minutes from the meeting on May 10 were approved by council, and the current meeting’s agenda was accepted.
A special working meeting between the City of Hardy, Hardy Advertising and Promotions Commission (A&P) and Main Street Hardy was held on Tuesday, June 28 at 6 p.m. at the Hardy Senior Center. In attendance was Hardy Mayor Ernie Rose, Hardy Treasurer/Recorder Darlene Wilson, City Attorney Joe Grider, Hardy Council members and A&P Commissioners Phillip Horrell and Sue Taylor, City Councilmen David Garland, Herbert Wise and Tony Berry, A&P Commissioners Amanda Garland, Ginni Kaufman and Chairman Tracie Moore. Main Street Hardy Representative Ron Martin was also present, along with Hardy Police Chief Scott Rose.
The Ash Flat City Council met on Monday, June 13, at 6:30 p.m. at city hall. Mayor Larry Fowler called the meeting to order. After the minutes from the May 9 meeting were accepted and the current agenda approved, the meeting continued with department reports.
