How three women formed to, Stop the Cycle
Like most ways to make a change, it started with an idea. Then with the idea comes action to make it to fruition and beyond and with the era of social media, that fruition came through via Facebook. That is what Sharon Tinin, Carmen Gilchrist and Aemi Thompson have done with Stop the Cycle Spay/Neuter Assistance Group, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Salem with reaches in Fulton and Sharp County.
Viola City Council approve change order on treatment plant, discuss sewer lines
Several items of discussion were made during the August Viola City Council meeting on Aug. 8. Among them were sewer line installations nearing completion as well as a vote on a change order for the sewer treatment plant, amongst other approvals.
