Chad and Lori Huckabee appeared in court on Tuesday, July 26 and issued a plea of not guilty in an alleged rape case that occurred in Fulton County. The Huckabee’s were arrested on June 27 and were faced with charges of rape, a class Y felony while Lori Huckabee was charged with permitting abuse of a minor, a class B felony.

Republican Party monthly meeting will be held on Aug. 11 6 p.m.

The Salem School District will hold its annual Title I Parent Meeting on Thursday, Aug. 11. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria. All parents are invited to attend. Topics will include any of the federal programs, curriculum and policies that affect the students K-12 for the 2022-2023 school year.
