The Viola Longhorns and Lady Longhorns competed in their second match of the season at Turkey Mountain on Aug. 16. On the ladies’ side, AJ McCandlis came in 2nd overall with Haylee Crotts coming in 7th. The Lady Longhorns tied for second place with team members, AJ McCandlis, Haylee Crotts, Sayde Waltrip, Kailey Hallmark and Emily Martin.
Salem Lady Greyhounds were away again on Monday. The team traveled to Izard County Consolidated against the Cougars for a non-conference match up.

'The sub-station is part of our agreement with the City of Calico Rock and the Calico Rock School District that was agreed on some time ago,' Melton said.
