Strawberry River Chapter DAR hold September meeting
Strawberry River Chapter DAR met Saturday, Sept. 10. Regent Jan Lusk reported on the August State Board of Management meeting which was in LR. She and chapter registrar Cynthia Clow-Elliott, who is the Arkansas VIS State Chair, attended the meeting. Our chapter received several certificates recognizing chapter work for 2021 which were presented at the DAR Continental Congress held June 29-July 2 in Washington, D.C.

Investigation into construction owner underway after arrest
Construction company owner Gerald Stellar of Stellar Construction was arrested on Monday, according to Fulton County Sheriff Joe Boshears, after a warrant was issued for violation of hot checks when Stellar allegedly paid $11,000 to a vendor for metal.
