Lyon College exhibit on display from Oct. 14-23 at the Old Independence Regional Museum

BATESVILLE, AR – With Lyon College’s big 150 right around the corner, there’s no better time to take a trip down memory lane. Thankfully, the Old Independence Regional Museum, or OIRM, in Batesville, is working hard, with the help of Lyon College’s Director of Institutional Events Pam Palermo, Historian-in-Residence Dr. Brooks Blevins and Martha Heasley Cox Chair in American Literature Dr. Terrell Tebbetts, to curate an Arkansas/Lyon College exhibit. The exhibit will be on display from Oct. 14-23, in honor of the college’s sesquicentennial celebrations.

The champs are here!

The Viola Lady Longhorns Golf Team had a remarkable round of golf at the Mountain Ranch Golf Course in Fairfield Bay for the 1A State Golf Tournament. The girls posted a tournament best team score of 296 to become the 2022 1A State Champions.
