Salem High School Band chili cook off a success

We had an awesome turnout Saturday, Nov. 5 for our chili cook-off. Thank you, Kristie Dawn Brewer, Greg Armstrong, Charles Owens and Samantha Clements for being our awesome judges. A big thanks to John Kunkel with Peaceful River Farm, LLC who donated 21 pounds of black angus to our cooks. Thank you to all the band parents, band students, and band booster club for all your wonderful help and support. Thank you for the great music, Salem Pep Band, Doxology and Cosmic Criminals. Thanks for keeping the kids entertained Warren Bounce Warren Bounce House Rentals. Thank you to our cookers. Y’all were awesome and everything tasted amazing.

Capitol Week in Review

Arkansas received good news from federal regulators that allows the state Medicaid program to better help women during at-risk pregnancies and other atrisk populations. Last year Medicaid provided medical services to 12,500 Arkansas women with high-risk pregnancies.
