After the services to be held at the Veterans’ Memorial in Ash Flat on Veterans’ Day, Friday Nov. 11, there will be a lunch to follow held at the Peace Lutheran Church in Cherokee Village from 12 noon to 2 p.m. It will be a spaghetti lunch to benefit the memorial in Ash Flat, which has suffered severe damage from hail, wind and thunderstorms over this past year.
The Hardy City Council met Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. at city hall. Mayor Ernie Rose called the meeting to order. The minutes from the Oct. 4 monthly meeting and the Oct. 12 special meeting were approved, and the current meeting’s agenda was passed.
