The American Legion Post # 344 of Horseshoe Bend will have a Veterans Day Ceremony. It will be held at Veterans Park in Horseshoe Bend on Nov. 11. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. The ICC choir directed by Chelsea Phillips will attend. Bring your lawn chair.

Cherokee Village Town Square enjoyed wonderful weather on Halloween evening. Families showed up for trick-or-treating dressed in all types of costumes. The Cherokee Village Animal Control staff brought dogs and kittens that were up for adoption for people to meet and greet, many of which were wearing costumes of their own. The Cherokee Village Fire and Police Departments were there to hand out candy to trickor- treaters, young and old. A great time was shared by all.
Salem Beta Club has always been a community- based club. In doing so, we get to do some pretty fun stuff, such as helping out with the VFW Community Fun Day, assisting with the Fulton County Fair Volunteer banquet, decorating for the holidays, tutoring students and helping run concessions at games.
