Highland school to hold Teddy Bear Toss

A unique partnership was formed between the Highland High School student council and the Hardy Sweet Shop. On Monday, Dec. 19 when the Highland Rebels take on the Forrest City Mustangs in basketball, there will be a Teddy Bear Toss, for a chance to win a $50 gift card. Additionally, all bears or stuffed animals purchased for the toss will be donated to local children for Christmas. According to HHS student council, bears purchased from Spring River Bear Factory inside the Hardy Sweet Shop, will get 10% the purchase. Then during the basketball games, the bears and animals will be tossed to the gym floor and whoever gets closest to the “X” on the floor, will receive the gift card.
