As I write this, we are still a few days out from Christmas, but I am told people like reading this column, so I am doing another one for the post-Christmas/Yule festivities and get to talk about 2023.

The Sharp County Quorum Court met on Monday, Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Sharp County Courthouse. Judge Gene Moore called the meeting to order for his final time as county judge. Once the minutes from the November meeting were accepted by the court, proceedings continued with the treasurer’s report.
