The Fulton County Fair Association is now accepting vendors for the 18th annual Spring Fairgrounds Flea Market on April 1 in Salem, Ark. The flea market started 20 years ago and was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 because of COVID. It is a popular event for our area and many vendors return each year with quality items for shoppers.

The Ash Flat City Council held their first meeting of 2023 on Jan. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at city hall. Judge Larry Fowler called the meeting to order. The current meeting’s agenda was approved, as well as the minutes from the Dec. 12 and Nov. 28 meetings. Department reports followed.
