Scholarships are now available for eligible Arkansas students through Arkansas Community Foundation. The Community Foundation’s scholarships are for Arkansas students pursuing education at two- or four-year colleges or universities, vocational schools or technical training programs.

Hardy City Council has new meeting days in 2023
The Hardy City Council will meet in regular session on the second Monday of each month in 2023 at 6 p.m. at Hardy City Hall located at 124 Woodland Hills Rd. The only planned exception will be the October meeting, which will be held on the third Monday since the second Monday is a federal holiday.

Junior shooting team receives state championship rings
During halftime of Saturday's basketball games, the Junior Shooting Sports team was recognized and presented with state championship rings for its huge accomplishment. The Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports Program (YSS) is sponsored by the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.

Batesville, Ark.–White River Medical Center (WRMC) is pleased to announce it ranked in the top 10 percent of 861 inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRFs) qualified for the IRF database of Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR, LLC). The reporting period was for cases discharged between October 2021 and September 2022.
