Septic Shock

When the Izard County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release on its Facebook page on Feb. 28 regarding an alleged incident of illegal sewage dumping by a local septic company, the press release was part of an online firestorm of similar alleged incidents through not only Izard County but in Fulton County as well.

Ozarka College Foundation Board

The Ozarka College Foundation selected Lee Ann Thomas of Stone County to serve on the foundation board of directors. Board members serve a five-year term and work collectively to support the mission of Ozarka College to provide life-changing experiences through education.

Arkansas House

In the 9th week of the 2023 Regular Session, the House passed several bills addressing education, elections, and healthcare. The House also passed a bill to increase the property tax credit for Arkansas families.
