Supporting Families of Loved Ones Called to Serve

Military service is a family affair. There is a lot asked of loved ones of who serve alongside the men and women who wear our nation’s uniform. They move away from family and friends to support our country’s readiness at home, during deployments and amid mission transitions. These families need to know we’re doing our very best to make sure they have a good quality of life. That’s why I’m helping lead a push to modernize and expand means to better support their evolving needs.

Now that it is March, particularly almost mid-March, comes a major milestone and a major change that occurred not only for our family but for you readers as well. This time in 2022, plans were being put into place for my wife and I to visit this area to see if it was the right fit for the job transfer.

NRCS accepting 2023 CSP applications through March 31

LITTLE ROCK,AR – Farmers and landowners have until March 31, to apply for funding consideration during the 2023 USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) Classic enrollment period. Producers in portions of Greene, Craighead, Lawrence, and Jackson counties will also have the opportunity to apply for CSP in the Mississippi River Basin Healthy Watersheds Initiative (MRBI)West Craighead project area.”
