Keep Arkansas Beautiful announces kick off of the 2023 Great American Clean up

Volunteers needed for statewide spring cleanup initiative The Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission (KAB) announced today the kick off of the 2023 Keep America Beautiful™ Great American Clean up (GAmC) in Arkansas. This year's GAmC runs from March 1 through May 31. Arkansans interested in doing their part to help keep Arkansas beautiful can recruit volunteers and host their own cleanup or sign up to volunteer at an event near them.

Cherokee Village SID surplus sale silent auction currently underway

Cherokee Village Suburban Improvement District (SID) has an ongoing silent auction at the SID office in Omaha Center until March 31, 3 p.m. There are some beautiful items for sale pictured on their website homepage (cvsid. org). Furniture, boats, trucks, golf carts, tractors, large equipment, restaurant equipment among other things are up for sale. Come make a bid!

Arts Center of North Arkansas March 2023 Events

Friday, March 10, 10 a.m. – 12 noon Rock Painting for Kids’ Summer Treasure Hunt in conjunction with Friends of Ash Flat Library. Members are invited to join in the fun of painting rocks which library volunteers will later hide in local parks for the kids to find and redeem for a free children’s book. All supplies furnished.
