FC quorum court adds new resolution, ordinance, discuss courthouse
The Fulton County Quorum Court met on Tuesday, Feb. 21 due to President’s Day being on Monday when the court would regularly meet.

Starting the week of March 6, The News in Salem will be published a day earlier going forward on Wednesdays. .
Fire department audit ordinance amendments sought
The issue of the Fulton County fire departments audits ordinance was another topic of debate during the Fulton County Quorum Court meeting on Feb. 21. The debate was centered around amendments that are being sought to be changed to the ordinance that was approved during the Jan. 3 quorum court meeting where an approval was made to begin an annual audit of all Fulton County fire departments.
Fulton County Fair
The Fulton County Fair online entry system for the Creative Arts Department is now open and will remain open until July 1. Visit the fair website, www.fultoncountyfair. org, and follow the link to do online entries. Creative Arts exhibitors are encouraged to enter online but a paper entry form is available for those who do not have access to a computer.
