Now that we’ve put winter behind us — at least on the calendar — it’s time for us to think about sprucing up our homes, inside and out. But it also may be time to do some financial spring cleaning.

Fulton County has released case files that had been closed on March 6. Those cases are as follows: Edward Joe Fletcher, 62, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia meth cocaine.
Dean’s Academic Honor List at Baylor University
More than 5,100 Baylor University students have been named to the Fall 2022 Dean’s Academic Honor List, which recognizes Baylor undergraduates for their outstanding academic work during each semester.
Special Olympics competition held in Salem
Local student and adult athletes were in full swing competing in the Special Olympics at the Salem High School gymnasium on Tuesday, March 14. Over 130 athletes from across northcentral and northeast Arkansas gathered to compete in individual basketball skills.
Salem students are Special Olympians
Mary Lawyer, a senior, and Lake Hutson, a sophomore at Salem High School, have participated in Special Olympics Arkansas since the age of six and four. Lawyer and Hutson have competed in numerous competitions in the area for the last 12 years and have been to three-day State Competitions on several occasions, that are held at Harding University in Searcy every year in May.
