Introducing Baxter Health’s Medical Assistant Residency Program

Recently, Baxter Health announced the launch of its new Medical Assistant Residency Program – an educational program designed to provide aspiring Medical Assistants with a comprehensive learning experience that will help them jumpstart their careers in the healthcare industry. The Medical Assistant Residency Program has two available start dates: May 15 and June 12.

Ozark Folk Center State Park announces music events

Park will host eight music events during its 50th anniversary year The Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View will host eight music events in the park’s 1,000seat venue, Ozark Highlands Theater, during the 2023 season which runs from April through October 28. Music events will feature top talent from the Ozarks and beyond, including Grammy-award winning singers, songwriters and performers like Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder.

Franklin community litter-pickup event set for May 20 Volunteers needed to help keep Franklin beautiful

“So much can be accomplished when we work together to keep Franklin beautiful,” said Mayor Louise Williams of Franklin, local coordinator of this year’s cleanup. “Litter can leave a negative impact on our community for years to come. By participating in this year’s Great American Cleanup in Arkansas, local residents can help make Franklin a vibrant community.”
