The Cherokee Village (CV) Suburban Improvement District (SID) met on Monday, April 17 at the North Golf Course at 4 p.m. SID Chairman Ron Page called the meeting to order. Commissioners Susan Jett, Joe Kaiser, David Nebel and Tony Stallsmith were present, as was General Manager (GM) Betsy Waugh. The agenda for the current meeting was approved unanimously by the commissioners, as were the minutes from the March 6 special meeting and the March 20 regular meeting.

The Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Blue Ribbon Welcome for new member Halo Hills Training & Boarding at noon on Thursday, May 11. The photo will be taken behind the SRACC’s office at 119 E.

The loving adoptable pets at the animal shelter in Cherokee Village who are still awaiting their forever homes are planning a day of fun in honor of you, “all of you animal lovers out there who have and still are reaching out to all of us here at our temporary home.
