The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office through Sheriff Jake Smith are investigating two fatal incidents that occurred in the county on June 07 and June 1. According to Smith, a fatal shooting took place on June 07 after the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call regarding a possible shooting having taken place in the Glencoe area.

It has been several months since employees of Dawson’s Septic were found to be dumping sewage along Santa Fe Drive in Horseshoe Bend on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28 and now, according to the Izard County Sheriff’s Office, misdemeanor charges have been filed.

It has been over a year since Angellea Fuller, 30, had been arrested and charged with allegedly having possession of child pornography according to a criminal information sheet filed on June 07, 2022.

Several counties and entities in the area have been awarded grant funding to be able to conduct training for area residents with the medicine Narcan. According to its website, Narcan (naloxone HCl) is a nasal spray that is used as an opioid antagonist indicated for the emergency treatment of known or suspected opioid overdose, as manifested by respiratory and/or central nervous system depression.
