This is the 2024 Youth Prize Melon Winner! This “survivor” melon was entered by Jace Patterson of Patterson Brothers Farms in honor of his new nephew Jon Beckett Patterson. The prize melon survived being pawed by a deer. Jon Beckett survived some difficulties he had at birth. Jon Beckett is the son of Jaret and Taryn Patterson. The family gives all thanks to God for JB’s positive outcome and good health. Thanks Uncle Jace and Papaw Jon for entering your survivor melon and sharing Jon Beckett’s story!
