Why are you running for Justice of the Peace?I am running because as a former JP, I secured financing and helped organize restoration of our Mammoth Spring Senior Center, VFW building and Food Pantry.I am currently serving on the Mammoth Spring Museum Commission and working to remodel the library.What do you feel qualifies you to be a Justice of the Peace?I am a former Justice of the Peace and my experiences in business, farming, community charity work and my previous accomplishments while serving on the Quorum Court.Roads continue to be an issue in the county, how will you seek to address this issue?While I served as JP, I traveled all the roads in our district and made trips to the road department to secure improvements where needed.

Opportunities, struggles and dreams come true: HHA offers many ways to view Hardy’s extensive past

The Hardy History Association (HHA) posts monthly videos on their Facebook page regarding some historic aspects of Hardy and/or the surrounding Spring River area for public viewing.The January video, “A Year in Review,” was created by Rebecca Ashcroft and is a nine-minute synopsis of the HHA videos, meetings and activities from December 2022 through all of 2023.
