The Ozarka College Foundation is pleased to announce the annual Ladies’ Luncheon, set to take place on Saturday, March 1, at Ozarka College in Mountain View. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. and promises an afternoon of inspiration, community, and celebration.

The Izard County Cougars defeated the Tuckerman Bulldogs, 58-41, to clinch a share of the 2A-2 Conference championship and the top seed in the 2A-2 District Tournament, plus a berth in the regional tournament. The Cougars (19-9 and 11-1) were led by Gabe Spray with 24 points. Cash Arnhart added 17 and Kasen Black 12 for the Cougars.

Congratulations to the Izard County Junior High Quiz Bowl Team! - your 2A North Regional Tournament Champions!
Viola FBLA made a strong showing at the District VI Spring Conference at ASU-Mountain Home on Friday, Jan. 31. There were over 30 schools competing, and each school could only enter one student in a competitive event. For Viola, a total of 14 students competed in 12 different events, and 12 qualified to compete at the State FBLA Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 29-30, 2025. Three other students are in an event that doesn’t start until the state leadership conference
