ICC middle school, high school designated State Model STEM Schools
It is official, we are excited to announce that both our middle school and high school have been designated as State Model STEM Schools by the Arkansas Department of Education today. Both schools were recently evaluated by the ADE State Model STEM Program Committees and we have qualified to be the FIRST SCHOOL DISTRICT in the state to have all its schools designated as State Model STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Schools.

Howell promoted to Branch Assistant
Cassie Howell has been promoted to Branch Assistant of FNBC’s Horseshoe Bend office, according to Julie Davis, Vice President of Retail Operations.

Rush returns to Ozarka as Vice President for Finance
Ozarka College is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Amber Rush to Vice President of Finance. Rush re-joins the Ozarka team after having worked as a member of the University of Arkansas System finance team, playing a critical role in the onboarding of system-wide integration software. Prior to that role, Rush served as Ozarka’s Controller until 2021.

Baxter Health Introduces PFO Treatment Option to Reduce Risk of Recurrent Stroke
Zaid Alirhayim, MD, board-certified interventional cardiologist, and the Baxter Health Heart Team have successfully performed their first PFO closure using Abbott’s Amplatzer Talisman PFO Occlusion System. This therapy treats patients with a patent foramen ovale (PFO) who are at risk of recurrent ischemic stroke.
