The 117th Arkansas DAR State Conference was held March 27-28 in Little Rock. Special guests included the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution President General Pamela Rouse Wright, NSDAR Reporter General Junelle Mongno, Honorary State Regents from Texas and Oklahoma, and the State Regent from Ohio.

The Fulton County Quorum Court on Tuesday, April 15 approved an ordinance declared as an emergency to fund road assistance for the flood damage that took place in early April. The fund would get $200,000 as an advancement as Arkansas Department of Emergency Management and Federal Emergency Management Agency officials tour the area to assess damages in order to qualify for funding.
