Cody Owens, 30, made a plea arrangement in Fulton County Circuit Court on Monday, July 7 to a Class A misdemeanor theft charge stemming from an alleged fraud and theft case that was said to have occurred in 2024 when his father, Charles Owens, 56, was the manager of Tri-County Medical Supply and Respiratory Services in Salem.

Thanks for the 16 participants (17 with SID Lake Patrol) in the Lake Thunderbird Boat Parade. Three more than last year and hopefully an indication of more participation next year. Sweet Pea is our adoptable of the week. The word “sweet” is used a lot, but it so fits this 8-10-month-old female, that she was quickly given the name. We don’t know her background life but we do know she keeps her kennel as clean as she can, her toys stay intact and she loves a blanket to cuddle with. Sweet Pea does great with free run with the puppies, and has learned her routines very well. Watching her run; she is a beauty when all stretched out like a gazelle. Sweet Pea has only been at the shelter approximately two months.
