The Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Carolyn Carter as the $1000 first place winner of the 2025 Spring River’s Got Talent show held on Sept. 12 at the Hardy Civic Center. Carter, who currently lives in Ozark Acres, won both the audience and judges over with a beautiful song she wrote ”Hills of Arkansas.” There were 12 contestants total.

The Osage Water Band, featuring powerhouse vocalist and American Idol alum Lauren Gray, will perform two concerts in the area this week. The band will take the stage on Thursday, Oct 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Town Center Gazebo in Cherokee Village, and again on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Crown Lake Resort & Crown Lake KOA Holiday Center in Horseshoe Bend.
