Strawberry River Chapter, DAR

There are two documents of paramount importance to American history: the Declaration of Independence, which forged our national identity, and the United States Constitution, which set forth the framework for the federal government that is still in use today. It is an annual commemoration of the living document that upholds and protects the freedoms central to our American way of life.

Stop the Stigma

As part of my Stop the Stigma campaign, I’m sharing the stories of soldiers and veterans whose battles didn’t end when they came home. These spotlights honor their service, their lives, and the challenges they faced. All while raising awareness about the reality of soldier and veteran suicide. Today, we remember James “Larry” Foster.

Adoptable of the Week, Petra

Petra is a beautiful, medium-sized female. Her cream and tan long hair coat likely has a bit of some type of herding breed giving her almost a sheltie or small collie look but with light coloring. Petra did so well at her first adoption event. She was friendly and accepting of all people and animals around her. She is a very sweet dog.
